Butter Rum
Butter Rum
Butter Rum hand dyed cross stitch fabric is a rich yellow brown rum color that reminds me of toffee.
Hand dyed cross stitch fabric is available in aida, evenweaves, and linen. We offer fat quarters, fat half's, and yards. Please refer to our fabric size chart before purchasing your fabric as sizes vary per fabric type. Fabric sizes are pre-processing sizes. There will be loss from surging and shrinkage through the dyeing and washing process.
All fabrics are hand dyed per order and although the same dye colors and processes are used, each piece will never be exactly the same in color and pattern. This makes your piece completely unique!
Linen will usually be darker and have more defined lines between colors. Aida dyes a little lighter and usually 14 count is the darkest of Aida fabrics. As Aida fabric count gets higher, they dye slightly lighter. Evenweaves (Lugana and Jobelean) are the lightest of the fabrics with a much smoother transition/blend between colors... little to no line definition can be seen. Opalescent fabrics will dye lighter than their non-opal counterpart due to the fact that some non-dye-able metallic threads replace the dye-able threads.
Photos are scanned to try to get the most accurate representation of colors. We try our best, but please note colors may vary due to dye lots, computer monitors, etc. You will love them so much more in person!
A must have accessory!
If you use a hoop or Q-snaps for stitching and the extra bulky fabric is hard to hold or keep out of your way, I recommend magnetic fabirc clips. They are perfect for holding extra fabric neatly out of the way and helping to keep your work clean. They also double as a needleminder!
